We need the Member Portal to only allow member access

I was under the impression that the member portal was for members only to access (hence "membership" portal). I am just finding out that anyone that was previously a member or has registered for our conference has the same access as members do. This makes no sense at all. A membership portal should only allow current members of our association into it. Can you work on getting this implemented ASAP? If not we are going to have to rethink using this platform. We had not idea that all of these people have had access to our members only resources this entire time.
